1. What do I need to submit
to the Court to become a Student Practitioner?
The Dean of your law school must send a letter describing your character, legal
ability, and training. The letter must also indicate that you have completed or
are enrolled in a course for credit in evidence or trial practice, as well as,
include your supervising attorney's name, office address and Board of Bar
Overseers number.
2. Who should the Dean
address the letter to?
The Dean should address the letter to the Clerk of this Court.
3. How long does my status as
Student Practitioner last?
Your "Student Practitioner" status will last until the results of the
proceeding bar exam. With a successful exam result, your Student Practitioner
status will remain until you are admitted to the Bar. With an unsuccessful exam
result, your Student Practitioner status expires.
4. How can I obtain my
supervising attorney's bar number?
You may contact the Board of Bar Overseers to obtain the bar number.
